QUEENSBURY, N.Y. - Edgar H. Eggleston Jr., age 77, of Queensbury, passed away on Saturday, January 8th 2022 at the Albany Medical Center in Albany, N.Y.

He was born on February 16th 1944 in Glens Falls, N.Y., he was the son of Edgar Sr. and Elizabeth (Lyons) Eggleston, one of eight children.

Edgar graduated from Queensbury High School in 1962.

He proudly served in several branches of the United States Military. He retired Master Sergeant as a Recruiter in the United States Air Force. He had the pleasure of helping many follow their dreams in joining the military.

He was very proud to serve his country in the military for 23 years, then he went on to work and retire from the US Postal Service.

He was the beloved husband of Sue Anne Eggleston.

He was an avid hunter. He enjoyed occasional trips to casinos with his wife making many memories.

He was an active member in the VFW in Glens Falls, N.Y.

He was predeceased by his beloved parents; Elizabeth and Edgar Eggleston Sr., two children; Cheryl Lynn, and Edgar Eggleston III, one brother; James Eggleston, and his second wife; Nieta Eggleston.
