Miss Anna Amelia Bacorn was born in North Branch Station on Feb. 19, 1871, the daughter of Henry and Margaret Bacorn. She lived in Atlantic Highlands nearly all her life where she worked as a dressmaker. Miss Bacorn was a member of the First Baptist Church. She died on Wed., Apr. 1, 1964 in Atlantic Highlands at the age of 93.
