Beth-Ann, as she was known to her kin where she was raised in Mansfield & Shreveport, Louisiana, was brought up in a strict Baptist household by her Mother, Aunt, and Grandmother.
Part Tom-boy and part little lady, she bounced between mud pies and tea parties with her cat “Broko-Weed”.
In her young adult years, Beth-Ann married her high school sweetheart, Richard Allen, and together they had their one and only son Randall T. Allen who was born in 1963.
Although “Liz”, (as she later became known as), and Richard parted ways, they remained friends until Richard’s untimely death in 1968.
Liz had become a professional secretary, and through that vocation, became acquainted with Mr. John Ambroff of whom she would soon marry. Over time, John and Liz would also part ways, but have always remained dear friends.
In 1988, Liz started to date Thomas J. Mead, who would become her friend, confidant, and husband for nearly the next 25 years.
Liz would light the hearts of all who would come to know her.
Liz’s was proceeded in death by her Mother, Mattie Francis Williams and Her Father, Samuel Raymond Pratt, and is survived by her Husband, Thomas J. Mead, her son, Randy Allen, with his wife Teresa Allen, her Grand Daughter, Katie-Scarlett Allen, and her Grand Son, Richard Allen, Jr.
