Jody M. Jones, 61, of McComb, MS, died on March 12, 2015 at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will be Sunday at Jones Family Funeral Services from 1:00 until service at 3:00 PM. Burial will follow in Hollywood Cemetery. Connie Felter and Dr. Jim Porter will officiate.
Mrs. Jones was born on July 23, 1953 in Crosby, MS. She was the daughter of J.D. Murray and Joan Lee Murray
She was a retired secretary at First Bank where she worked for over 14 years. She enjoyed working in the yard and spending time with her grandchildren. She was an avid reader who loved to take her grandkids to the library. She loved watching Atlanta Braves Baseball. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents, J.D. Murray and Joan Lee Murray; one brother, Dugg Murray
Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Bob Jones of McComb, MS; one son, Chris McCallum and wife Jennifer of Tylertown, MS; two sisters, Julie Griffith and husband Jim and Jill Giordano and four grandchildren, Mason and Easton McCallum and Ashlynn and Taylor Gautreau
Pallbearers will be Jamie Griffith, Josh McCallum, Colt McCallum, Nicky Barr, Scott Kirkpatrick and Kokey Brumfield.
Honorary pallbearers will be Robin Jones and Brendan Jones.
