Larry J. Gill, age 62, of Cumberland, WI died Sunday, January 25, 2015 at his home.
He was born on June 7, 1952 in Cumberland, WI to William and Irene (Balko) Gill. Larry graduated from the Cumberland High School in 1970. He was married to Peggy Larson on September 11, 1971 in Rice Lake. Larry dairy farmed in the Cumberland Township all of his life and also worked for Rice Lake Implement for 5 years.
Larry played pool and cards, loved telling jokes, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, riding his Harley Davidson, going 4 wheeling and going camping with his family.
Larry Gill is survived by Peggy Gill of Rice Lake, WI; 2 daughters and son-in-law, Kelly Clausen-Kohnhorst and Tim Kohnhorst of Wausau, WI and Jody Reckin of Colfax, WI; 5 grandchildren, Thomas, Miranda, Brandon, Morgan and Tyler; and a brother, Bill Gill of Cumberland, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Irene Gill; and a sister, Sandra Gill.
Funeral Services will be held 7:00 PM Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Appleyard's Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI. Visitation will be held from 3 - 7 PM Wednesday at Appleyard's Home for Funerals.
