William “Bill” C. Judd, 62 of Mt. Pleasant, IA, died Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at his home after a lengthy battle with cancer.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 a.m.-12 noon, on Saturday, March 14, 2015, at the Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel where the family will be present. There will be no formal services. Inurnment will be at a later date at Oakland Mills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established and may be directed to the family. Born June 2, 1952 in Mt. Pleasant, IA William Clyde was the son of E. LaVerne and Eva May (Humbert) Judd. He attended Mt. Pleasant Community Schools. On December 19, 1983, he married Shirley A. Winters in Las Vegas, NV.

In his early working career Bill worked at Heatilator in Mt. Pleasant and Mallable in Fairfield, IA as a factory worker. He later worked for 27 years at Iowa Wesleyan College as a groundskeeper. He retired from this position and started his own lawn care services.

Active in the Iris City CB Club, Bill was a former Sergeant of Arms for the club. He loved and raised his miniature poodles and sold many dogs. He was an avid fan of WWE and watched many wrestling matches on TV.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley, of Mt. Pleasant, IA; a step-daughter, Natasha Schroeder of Las Vegas, NV; a step-son, Kevin Lehew of Phoenix AZ; three sisters, Maxine Nichols, Nancy Landes, both of Mt. Pleasant, IA, and Martha Messer of Franklin, NC; two brothers, Robert Judd and Thomas Judd both of Mt. Pleasant, IA; seven step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceding Bill in death are his parents.
