Beverly Jean Dove, 85, of Butler passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at DeKalb Health in Auburn.

She was born March 14, 1929, in Waterloo to Ralph L. and Cleota E. (Lahnum) Duesler.

Beverly was a 1947 graduate of Waterloo High School. She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Butler and a member of Welca Through the church.

She was a sales clerk for many years at the Boston Store in Auburn and Eckhart Jewelry Store, also in Auburn. She also worked as a chiropractic assistant in Dr. John Chalfant’s office in Auburn before retiring.

She married Richard Dove on Aug. 2, 1947, in Auburn and he survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Candice Dove Benward of Franklin, Tennessee, and Catherine (Kevin) Aldrich of Corunna; eight grandchildren, Aaron (Kenda) Benward, Sareece (Raiford) Brown, Colin (Caitlyn) Benward, Jamie (Shane) Reed, Justin (Alison) Aldrich, Jarrod (Danielle) Aldrich, Chad (Cheri) Dove and Tyler (Katie) Dove; 15 great-grandchildren, Luke Benward, Gracie Benward, Ella Benward, Isabella Rai Brown, Joshua Brown, Barrett Brown, Zoe Reed, Addison Reed, Emma Reed, Ava Aldrich, Elle Aldrich, Nicholas Dove, Kendra Dove, McClain Dove and Coy Aldrich.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Richard Alan Dove and Ronald David Dove; and a brother, Donald Duesler.

Services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn, with Jeoffrey Benward and the the Rev. Amy Beitelschees-Albers officiating.

Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn.
