Funeral services for William H. Buskirk, who died Sunday at the residence of his sister, Mrs. A. Winans, 344 East Lombard street, will be held tomorrow at 2:30 o’clock from Finley’s chapel. Interment will be in Riverview cemetery.

Mr. Buskirk was 83 years old. He was born in Clark county, Missouri, in 1841. When 20 years old he enlisted in the 2d Missouri cavalry, serving the first three years of the civil war. He then enlisted in the 8th regiment, United States volunteers, serving three years.

Later he was deputy sheriff of Clark county and then went to Elis, Kan., where for 20 years he engaged in the mercantile business. Thirty years ago he came to Oregon.

Another sister, Mrs. W. H. Arnold, of St. Louis, Mo., and a brother, J. R. Buskirk, Richland, Okla., also survive.
