CHAPPELL – Terry L. “Neighb,” 63, Berlin, N.J., formerly of Windber, died March 8, 2015, at his home in Berlin, N.J. Born July 6, 1951, in Johnstown, son of Firman and Eva-Jane (Susko) Chappell. Preceded in death by his father and sisters-in-law, Linda Magistro and Phyllis Diehl. Survived by his mother; loving wife of 33 years, Patricia (Caddy) Chappell; sons, Matthew Andrew and Christopher Paul, both of Berlin, N.J.; granddaughter, Isabelle Fawn; and sisters, Linda, wife of David Berkey; and RuthAnn, wife of Gene Helman; nieces, Carol, Sandra, Donna, Kim, Amanda and Gina; nephew, Brian; sister-in-law, Millie Caddy; and brothers-in-law, Jerry Caddy and Joseph Magistro. Also survived by his dachshund, Bella. Terry was a U.S. Army veteran, a retired coal miner from Greenwich Collieries, Indiana, Pa., and proud member of UMWA. He was a hockey coach, soccer coach and great role model for his sons. Terry had a huge heart and would do anything for anybody. He will be remembered as a kind and loving husband, father, son and brother who will be missed by all. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., 710 Broad St., where vigil service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Therese Catholic Church, Father Bernard Karmanocky, OFM, officiating. Committal, Grandview Cemetery, with military honors by VFW Menoher Post 155 Ritual Team. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.ozogfh.com.
