Services for Imogene Carter, 94 of Flint, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 30, 2018 in the Chapel of Jackson's Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home with Rev. Sam DeVille officiating. She will be laid to rest at Flint Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until service time in the Chapel.
Mrs. Carter went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 27, 2018 in Tyler. She was born January 6, 1924 in Tyler to the late Frank Landers and Mary Gaiser Landers. She was a retired shoe salesperson and member of Flint Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Carter.
Survivors are a daughter, Carolyn Walker of Flint; three brothers, Jerry, Richard and Billy Sharp; four sisters, Lanette Hawkins, Vergie Brown, Melba Pearson and Tamza DeCharles; five grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
