Funeral Services for Mrs. W.H. Morrison was held at Welter Chapel with the Rev Joseph W. Gray officiating and burial was in Riverside Cemetery.

Jessie Pearl Plate was born Sept. 8, 1905 in Astoria, Illinois. She moved with her parents to Alpena in 1909. On April 6, 1924 she married W. H. Morrison at Wolsey. They lived in Huron until 1938 when they moved to Brookings, returning to Huron in August 1944.

Surviving besides the husband is one Daughter Deloris at home; one son, Wenfred, Huron; one granddaughter, Carol Lynn; her father, Henry Plate, Kewanee Ill.; four brothers, Frank Astoria, Illinois; Ronald, Huron; Sheldon, Alpena; Dwight, Marshalltown Ia.; three sisters, Mrs. Lela Utterback, Cushing, N.Y.; Mrs. Mabel Crook, Portland, Ore.; and Mrs. Hazel Huckins, Kewanee, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her mother who died when Mrs. Morrison was but a small child.
