Daughter of: * John Marion Hamm and * Marie Parker Hamm Drye
She graduated from Winecoff High School, Class of 1963 and North State Business College. She married David Lowery on Oct. 25,1964. Linda worked for Kannapolis General Insurance Agency and Home Realty Company until she was disabled by a stroke in April of 1997. Linda was a caring, loving wife, mother and grandmother, who loved her family dearly, the children and grandchildren were the love of her life. Linda also loved the Lord. She was a life-time member of First Wesleyan Church. Linda had been involved in many areas of the church until she became disabled. She sang in the choir and was active with the Ladies Circle. Even though she did not go as she once had, Linda still loved the church and friends that she had there. Since her stroke, Linda would spend part of every morning reading her Bible and doing her devotions. She was so very happy all the time. She never complained. Linda was truly one special person
