Lawrence was the son of Lawrence A. Sr. and Elizabeth Deas Alderman.
He came to the Central Florida area from Germany upon his retirement from the military in 1965. An Army MSgt.-E7 having served in WW II and the Korean War, he was also a recipient of the Purple Heart.
Lawrence became a private long distance truck driver who later went to work for MOPAR as a truck driver for 14 years. In 1978 he joined Albertsons as a driving instructor and later returned to the road as a driver for the next 12 years. He was a member of the American Legion and the VFW.
He was of the Baptist faith.
Preceded in death by his loving wife,
Maud K. Alderman, Feb. 12, 2008.
Lawrence is survived by daughters, sister, grandson, and his beloved granddog, Abby.
Funeral services scheduled for Monday at Osceola Memory Gardens Funeral Home in Kissimmee.
Interment will be in Osceola Memory Gardens Cemetery.
