Stricken with a heart attack early Sunday morning, Mrs. Agnes J. Slaughter died at her home at Ross a few hours later. She had been in apparently good health, and her sudden sickness and death were a great shock to her family and friends.
With her husband, Louis D. Slaughter, she had conducted a grocery store. They had resided in Ross for the past 6 years. Surviving her in addition to her husband, are a son, Jack Slaughter, and a daughter, Mrs. J.R. Grechman.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning from the mortuary of Keaton & Dusel, and a mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at St. Anselm's Church at 9:30 o'clock. Interment will take place at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
