Linda was born in the blustery winter of Minnesota a few days before Christmas. She was waited for with anticipation by her parents and sister. The Joe and Doris Fish family had a VHA 2 bedroom home in Richfield, Minnesota that they bought and moved into in January 1949. They lived there as their children, Patricia, Linda, and Leslie grew up and after Doris passed away, Joe lived there alone until June 2004. Joe and Doris' youngest daughter, Joan Leslie, died at the age of six from pneumonia.

Linda....how do I describe her. She was smart, funny, the family glue, and loved by family and her many, many friends. Her dash (-) includes marriage to Kenneth Brett Dowell on 14 June 1969. They had three children: Jason, Matthew, and Jennifer and six grandchildren. In 1980 Linda and Kenny divorced and Linda never remarried. But there is so much more to her story.

More stories will be added but for now it can be said that Linda was a person who made everyone feel comfortable and loved. She was open in her communication, laughed easily, listened to stories of life and gave loving advice. You've heard of "value added?" That was Lin, she added value to this thing called life.
