She was born March 26, 1917 in Wessington Springs, South Dakota, the daughter of Frank Joseph and Edith Pearl Schwartz Dusek.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Prairie Grove.
She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Edward Mayes, two brothers Bernard Dusek, Donald Dusek, one sister Bernice Elkins and one niece Pat Hand.
Survivors include one daughter Donna Fleming and husband Gary of Wichita, Kansas; two grandsons Steve Campbell and wife Amy of Mesa, Arizona and Slade Campbell of Prairie Grove; two great grandchildren Cody Campbell and Kaley Campbell both of Mesa, Arizona; one niece Carolyn Boyle and husband Gary of Prairie Grove.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00-7:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday, March 12, 2015 11:00 A.M. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Burial will be in Farmington Cemetery, there will be no graveside services held at the cemetery.
