Mother Flora M. Jackson, 77, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, March 7, 2015.
She was born in Sandy Ridge, AL on August 4, 1937 to the late Tilmon Webb & the late Willie Purdue.
Flora is best known as a cook at the Coffee Cup and for her many cakes, pies and meals she shared with the community. Flora volunteered for more than twenty years with the American Red Cross assisting our veterans by making notification calls for military families. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, where she served as a Deaconess, Sunday School teacher and community Prayer Warrior.
She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, C.W. Jackson; their children, James L. Jackson of Perry and LaDonna M. Jackson of Massillon; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Eva Blunt of Chicago, IL and Ruby Pollard of Birmingham, AL; and a brother, Johnny Webb of Maywood, IL.
She is also preceded in death by her children, Kenneth (Michelle) Jackson, Sr. and Centhyia Ann Jackson; and seventeen brothers and sisters.

Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
