Dancer. Born Felitsata Leont'evna Dluzhenevskaia in Saint Petersburg. After training at the Imperial Ballet Academy she joined the Maryinsky but left several years later to join Diahilev's Ballet Russes. She created roles in Nijinska's Les Noces, Balanchine's Apollon Musagete and Prodigal Son. For a year she danced with New York Metropolitan Opera and after taught the American Ballet School. She became a distinguished teacher and remained there until she was eighty four. Married Russian dancer Pierre Vladimiroff (Petr Nikolaev)
