Jane "Jennie" Hamilton Brinton, 85, Mt. Pleasant, died Aug. 27, 1972, at her daughter's home in Bountiful of natural causes.

Born Dec. 16, 1886, Salt Lake City, to James Campbell and Isabelle Hood Hill Hamilton.

Married Wollerton Huffaker Brinton, Oct. 8, 1914, Salt Lake Temple. He died July 1, 1968.

Teacher at Roosevelt Elementary School, Salt Lake City; served mission to California and Western States; temple worker; member DUP; Relief Society and YMMIA president.

Survivors; son, daughters, Reed W., Salt Lake City; Mrs. Worth (Margaret) Bench, Fairview; Mrs. Royal (Beth) Allred, Mt. Pleasant; Mrs. Ed D. (Jane) Cox, Bountiful; 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Leo, Milton, both Salt Lake City; Melvin, Sugar City, Idaho; David, Palo alto, Calif.
