She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, William Hoyt Roop and Earl “Pete” Kelleher; grandson-in-law Jim McLaine, and one great-granddaughter Macy McLaine. Dorothy was a long-time resident of the Lovings Community and was a member of the Lovings Baptist Church. During the 1950’s she and her husband Pete owned and ran the Country Store in Lovings, and in her later years she was a chicken grower for O.K. Farms.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Lovings Baptist Church with Reverend Bob McCaslin and Reverend Mark Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Lovings Cemetery under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons
Viewing will be from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., with friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
