Mona Viola (Booher) Moore, 97, of Kittanning died on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016, in the Chicora Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 21, 1919, in Kittanning to Jay and Beatrice (Smith) Booher.
Mona was a homemaker.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Kittanning and attended the Sherrett Methodist Church.
She loved doing crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, and crocheting.
Survivors include son, James J. Moore of Stillerwater; daughter, Dena K. Bowman of Amherst, New York; son, William R. Moore of Cowansville; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Rebecca Padgett of Asheboro, North Carolina and Janice Crow of Kittanning.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Moore; and brothers, Graydon Booher and Fred Booher.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 832 East Brady Road, Cowansville. Additional viewing will be from 10 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home until the time of services at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Robert French officiating. Interment will be Lawn Haven Burial Estates.
