RICHARD L. "RICK" JENKINS, 60, of Springfield, went to be with the Lord, Saturday afternoon, March 7, 2015 at Miami Valley Hospital following a brief illness. He was born in Warren, Pennsylvania on December 26, 1954, the son of Russell and Bessie (Penley) Jenkins.

Rick was an ASE Certified Master Mechanic, recently working at RC Enterprises and previously owned and operated Rick's Certified Auto. He was a member of First Christian Church. Rick will be remembered as a loving husband, dad and PaPaw and for his love of the outdoors and his family.

He is survived by his mother of Rosewood, Ohio; wife of 35 years, Teresa L. "Terry" (Willmeth) Jenkins; two daughters, Trish (Mark) Schultz of New Carlisle and Tiffany (Zac) Fields of Springfield; a son, Lukas Jenkins of Cleveland; five grandchildren, Isaac, Caleb and Simon Schultz and Evelyn and Jesse Fields; sister, Cathy (Mark) Brandyberry of Urbana; brother, Jeff (Tina) Jenkins of St. Paris; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday in First Christian Church. Rick's funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the church with Brian Elliott officiating. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery.
