Seminole County, Oklahoma resident Chief of Police, Chris Mills passed away, Friday, May 19, 2006 at the age of 51. He was born June 24, 1954, in Springfield, Missouri, to Louis and Grace (Squibb) Mills.

Chris has a deceased brother now as well and it is Wayne E Mills :. Memorial 197838170

He had been a police officer for over 30 years, serving as Chief of Police in Willard, Missouri, and Walnut Grove Police Department, he also worked for the Greene County Sheriff's Department, and was currently serving as Chief of Police of the Seminole Police Department where he served for eight years.

He is survived by his son, Shad Mills of Warren, Pennsylvania; brother, Wayne Mills of Indianapolis; and three sisters, Helen Taylor of Indianapolis, twin sister, Christine Price of Springfield, Missouri, and Nancy Mills of Springfield, Missouri. He is also survived by a niece and two nephews, Jeremy and Ashley Price of Springfield, Missouri, and Ronnie Taylor of Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2006, at Swearingen Funeral Chapel, Seminole, Okla., with Pastor Steve Cline officiating. Graveside services at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24, 2006, in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Springfield, under the direction of Wilson-Brim-Daniel Funeral Home, Ash Grove, MO.
