Marian R. Diem, 67, of Annville, passed away on Monday March 9, 2015, at The Reading Hospital.
Born in E. Earl Twp. on September 27, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Arthur C. and Elsie G. Hershey Diem. Marian grew up on the farm in S. Annville, where she enjoyed working with the cows and helping around the farm. She was a member of Gingrich Mennonite Church in Lebanon. She enjoyed gardening and doing embroidery work.
Surviving are her siblings, Lois E. Diem of Annville, a brother Kenneth Diem and his wife Suzanne of Palmyra, and a sister Brenda and her husband Tom Livengood of Lancaster. She is also survived by three nephews and a niece. She was preceded in death by her sisters Erma Bomberger and Mary Diem.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 11, 2015 at 10AM from Gingrich Mennonite Church, 100 Forney Road, Lebanon, PA 17042. Interment will be in Groffdale Mennonite Church Cemetery, Leola, following the luncheon at the church. There will be a viewing held on Tuesday March 10, 2015 from 6PM-8PM at the church and the day of the service from 9AM till 10AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to her church.
