Thomas Woodrow Moore graduated from Andrews High School in 1935, attended Brevard College in 1935-36, graduated from Southern Business University in Atlanta, Ga., in 1937. In 1940 he married Virginia Cook. To this union 4 children were born, Thomas, Gregory and Michael (twins) and Debrah Jane.
In 1942 he entered the army for 31/2 years and attained the rank of Master Sargeant. He returned to Atlanta working with Retail Credit, Liberty Mutual Insurance, and then Kemper Insurance for 28 years. At the time of his retirement, he was Vice-President of the agency branch office.
He has been active in Chamblee Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge, the Scottish Rite Bodies, Yaarad Shrine Temple, and Tucker Shrine Club, Dunwoody Lions' Club, formerly scoutmaster and cub master for 18 years. Since retiring he has been a consultant and works part time as vice-president of Prittchard Associated Inc..
