Dawn D. Kirkland PELION - Dawn D. Kirkland, 52, of Pelion passed away Saturday, March 7, 2015. She was a loving, caring mom and grandmother. She was not only a mother to her children but a mother to everyone. Dawn is survived by her mother, Mary Phillips; four sisters, Donna, Robin, Tammy and Lolita; two brothers, Ricky and Kenny; daughter, Nikki Sightler; stepdaughter, Tiffany Kirkland and six grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington.
