Mildred Groner Wilder McKinney, 85, died Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Tupelo Nursing and Rehab following an extended illness.

She was born September 15, 1929 in Lafayette Co., MS to Selmer Majnus Groner and Blanche Johnson Groner.

She was self- employed as an antique dealer for more than forty years, first in Vernon, AL and from 1972 to 1996 in Verona at “Mildred’s Antiques” shop.

Survivors include her two sons, Reggie Wilder and wife, Dusty of Alabaster, AL and Robin N. Wilder and wife, Rita of Hamilton, AL; six grandchildren, Skipper, Brandi, Chad, Autumn, Summer, and Claire; two great-grandchildren, Abby and Benjamin; a host of nieces, nephews, and other near relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, James Richard “Ricky” Wilder and Ronald Mark “Ronnie” Wilder, as well as her siblings.

A celebration of her life will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 11, 2015 in the Tupelo Chapel of Holland Funeral Directors. Private burial will follow in Verona City Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from noon to service time.
