Born in Leesville, Louisiana on July 19, 1932, Mrs. Hunter was the daughter of Curtis and Lona (Barksdale) Craft.
She had worked at the Naval Station in Orange where she was secretary to the Naval Commander and she was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in West Orange.
Preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Lona Craft; brother, Bruce Craft; and grandson, Andrew Powell.
Mrs. Hunter is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jim Hunter; son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Marla Hunter; daughter, Denise Granger; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
