IOWA PARK – Russell Brown Swanson, 53, of Gause, Texas, and former longtime resident of Iowa Park, Texas, passed away on October 26, 2011, after a lengthy illness.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, November 5, 2011, at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor, Jerry Burns, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home of Iowa Park.
Survivors include daughter, Brandi Woods and husband, John, of Iowa Park; son, Bryan Swanson and girlfriend, Emily Buckley, of Iowa Park; son, "Michael" Brandon Swanson of Gause, Texas; "part his", Marci Gilbert and husband, Kyle, of Iowa Park; brother, Davey Swanson of Iowa Park; sister, Mary Means of Conroe, Texas; sister, Delma Swanson Ensey of Iowa Park; brother, Steve Swanson, of Iowa Park; brother, Jayson Swanson and fiancé, Sarah Myers, of Fort Worth, Texas; the sunshine of his life, his four precious tiny tinies, Sidney Givens, Abigail Swanson, Wraylie Woods and Breckin Gilbert; several nieces and nephews, who were so very dear to him.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Carol Ann Swanson and Susan Grace Swanson; brother, Mark Allen Swanson; father, Harold Swanson; and mother, Audrey Swanson.
