Carlton R. "Dick" Longsine, 69, Green Bay, died Monday, Mar. 13, 2006, following a strong, courageous battle with cancer. He was born June 30, 1936, in Oconto, to Inez (Gunderson) Longsine and the late Joseph Longsine. Dick was a well respected man who enjoyed life and lived each day to the fullest. He was proud of his children and grandchildren and loved his family. Dick was an avid Packers fan. Through the years he spent on Broadway, he made many lasting friendships and memories.
Survivors include his children and their spouses, Terri and Scott Jung, Waterford; Samuel and Lori Longsine, Kaukauna; Melissa Baldwin and her fiance, Scott Martens, both of Green Bay; his lifelong companion, Clara Lannet, Green Bay; his mother, Inez Longsine, Oconto; his grandchildren, Adam, David and his fiancee, Kim Cannon, Brittany, Nicholaus, Lucas, Haley; his brother and sister-in-law, Eugene and Bev Longsine, Kaukauna; his two sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna and Tom Berg, Sussex; Lorraine and Pete Burby, Crivitz; nieces and nephews; his cousins, Neil and Jack McNulty; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, his brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Joyce Longsine.
Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Steven Fewell officiating. Burial will be in Oconto, Wis.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Dick's name.
