Amy was the daughter of Larry and Connie Nelson Montgomery. Her grandparents are Keith and Mildred Nelson and Brenton and Norma Montgomery. Her great-grandmother is Gladys Logan. Also surviving are two brothers, Matt and Nathan.
Amy was a junior at Havana High school, where she was a cheerleader and a member of the student council. She was a member of the cross country track team, girls track team, Havana Band Flag Squad, band/chorus, jazz chorus, All District Chorus and drama club. She was a member and pianist at the First United Methodist Church, where she was active in the United Methodist Youth Fellowship, plus the choir.
Amy was taken from us in a car-truck accident on U. S. 136 near Table Grove. She was sixteen.
