Warren G. Henry Sr., son of the late Frank and Jane Accoo Henry, died on Monday, July 16, 2001 at the Memorial Hospital of Salem County. He was born in Salem on January 30, 1923. He attended public schools here and was a member of Mt. Hope United Methodist Church. Warren was employed at Chrysler Corp. and retired in 1985 after 25 years of service.


His memory will be cherished by his wife of 57 years, Sara Wilson Henry, 1 son Warren G. Henry Jr. of Wilmington, DE, 1 sister Mabel Henry, daughter-in-law, Rose Henry of Wilmington, DE, first cousin William Accoo, 2 step grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren, 1 step great great grandchild, other in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.


He was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Elizabeth Moore, Vera Thomas and Rachel Linsy and 4 brothers, Clinton, Cecil, Clayton and George.


Funeral service will be Friday, July 20, at Mt. Hope United Methodist Church, 12 noon. Viewing will be 9am prior to the service. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Wesley Funeral Home, Bridgeton.
