Puxico - Kennard Dean Jones, 57, died Sept. 11, 1994, at his home in Puxico.
Born Feb. 28, 1937, at Mingo, son of the late Ira and Verna Neighbors Jones, he had lived all his life in Puxico and was a timber worker/logger.
On Feb. 8, 1958, at Bloomfield, he married Gracie Dunning, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: five daughters, Tracy Deaton, Kendra Jones, and Misty Jones of Puxico, Paula Shepard of Trinity, Ala., and Karen Baker of Dexter; five brothers, Charlie Jones, John Jones, and Ernest Jones of Puxico, Arzie Jones of Troy, and Dale Jones of Merced, Calif.; four sisters, Mary Tucker of Merced, Calif., Buelah Norton of Troy, Lucy Langford and Pat Martin of Puxico; and 11 grandchildren.
One brother and one sister also preceded him in death.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. Tuesday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. Robert Cockrell of Puxico officiating.
Burial will follow in Puxico Cemetery.]
