Born in Rochester, he was the son of the late, Herbert L. and Dorothy (Jenness) Rollins. He attended Rochester public schools and Rochester High school. He served in the U.S. Army from 1969 until 1970.
Mr. Rollins was employed as an Inspector for the Thompson Center Arms in Rochester, NH for close to forty years. He was last employed for the Coca Cola Bottling Company in Bedford.
Red loved the outdoors, and enjoyed fishing whenever he could. A devoted husband, father and grandfather, he cherished time with family and friends.
He leaves his beloved wife, Patricia (Grant) Rollins, of Rochester, NH, a daughter, Deborah L. Nau and her husband, Duane, of Webster, NY, stepchildren; Alan R. Mandigo and his wife, Cybelle, of Somersworth, Charlie C. Mandigo, and his wife, Mary, of Danville, Charles Willie, of Springfield, MA, Terri Pedato and her husband, Steven, of Danville, nineteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He also leaves his former wife, Nancy Eldridge and his best friend, Bernie.
Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Rte. 125) Haverhill. Burial will follow in Locust grove Cemetery, Merrimac.
