Ms. Eva attended the public school in Eutawville, South Carolina. At an early age, she was baptized a Zion Baptist Church in Columbia, South Carolina. She was previously employed at Morrison Cafeteria, retiring in 1985.
Ms. Eva, affectionately known as “Grand," was a very kind, affectionate, and loving person with a very giving spirit. Grand would say the key to living this long is not allowing anything to worry her. Her favorite place was going to Zion Baptist Church and home. She really valued the Lord and her family.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Eva is preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Channey Green-Lyons; two grandsons, John Henry Williams, Jr., and Antonio Williams; four sisters, Elnora Green Reese, Desine Jenning, Annvera Brown, and Samuel Green; a brother, Enoch Money Green.
Those left to cherish her life, legacy and unending love is her loving daughter, Emma Lee Williams, a sister, Ella Jenkins; fifty-eight grandchildren and great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives.
