John L. Taylor, 96, of Vermont died November 12 at McDonough District Hospital of Macomb. Born May 5, 1894, in Lewistown, the son of John Thomas and Mary (Shaw) Taylor, he married Mary Catherine Harn on January 10, 1912, in Burlington, Iowa.
She survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Irene Keime of Vermont and Mrs. Lucille Post of Washington; four grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, three brothers and six sisters.
He was a farmer and a member of Jehovah's Witnesses of Lewistown.
Services were held November 15 at Kost Memorial Home. Burial was at Vermont Cemetery.
