He states that on the 1900 Census her birth date is listed as "May 1850".
I searched through Ancestry.com and found 5 family tree sites.
3 of them have the birth date as "Sept. 9, 1851" as did the burial listing from the Allegany Co. Historical Society.
2 of the family trees had it as "May 1, 1850"
For now, I am leaving it as Sept. 9, 1851.
