Served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. He was co-owner of Johansen Brothers Meat and Grocery Store. He loved to fly fish with his brothers and friends at Fairview lakes.
Survivors are: sister, Glenda (R. Bruce) Schow; sister-in-law, Caroline Johansen, all of Salt Lake City; nephews, Alan Johansen, of Mt. Pleasant; Paul Johansen, Daniel Schow, Joel Schow; nieces, Teresa Ashton, all Salt Lake City; Kayanne Swenson, Butte, Montana. Preceded in death by parents, three brothers, Shirley, Dean, and Cloyd.
