Florence was a long time resident of Lansing along with her late husband John. They loved traveling in their RV and fishing along the way.
She was a Prime Timer, Rosary Maker, and a member of the Lansing Chapter of the AARP. She enjoyed reading, crosswords, and her favorite the Detroit Tigers.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jack (Shirley) Fillipps.
She is survived by her loving children, John (Mary) Walters and Mary Jane (Steven) Cook, and her 4 grandchildren Michaela and Rebecca Walters and Peter and Alexander (Jeni Horanburg) Cook.
The funeral mass was celebrated Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Lansing with Rev. Fr. John Byers as celebrant. A Rosary was recited.
