FORMER WOLFE COUNTIAN DIES

Thomas C. Booth, 78, Mt. Holly, Ohio, died unexpectedly of a heart
attack early Sunday morning at his home. A native of Wolfe County, he
was a veteran of World War I.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Creasy Allen Booth, Mt. Holly; one son,
Lloyd Lee Booth, Louisville; one daughter, Mrs. Richard Brown, Amelia,
Ohio; one sister, Mrs. Mazie Allen, and one brother, M.H. Booth, both of
Campton, three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was conducted at a Mt. Holly funeral home late
Tuesday. The body arrived at Shackelford Funeral Home Wednesday.

Rev. Ray F. Cummins conducted a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Burial was
in Evans Cemetery. Pallbearers were O.F. Rogers, Fred Carroll, Stanley
Lumpkins, Orville Boothe, Robert Taylor and George Cox.
