Wayne Lee Douglas, 64, went home to be with the Lord in a local hospital Saturday, April 22, 2006.
He was born in Bledsoe County on June 13, 1941, but grew up in Chattanooga.
He was an active member of Hixson Church of Christ.
Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Finis Lee Douglas; wife, Donna Stokes Douglas; and a son, Clint Stokes.
He is survived by his mother, Jewell Douglas; daughters, Donna Jackson and Brandie Douglas; son, Mike Stokes; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted in the North Chapel at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 26, with Brother Roger Coffman officiating.
Interment will follow in Pikeville City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 1-8 p.m. today.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 5401 Highway 153.
