Jeffrey Dean Haney, 51, of Bryan, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2013. A Memorial Service will be Saturday, 2:00 p.m. at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan, with Bob Whiddon officiating.

Jeff was born on September 14, 1961 in Niagara Falls. He graduated from Columbine High School in Littleton, CO. After graduating from Abilene Christian University with a degree in Computer Science and Math, Jeff went on to earn his Masters in Oceanography from Texas A&M University and worked for Dynacon, Inc. in Bryan.

Jeff is survived by his parents, John and Mildred (Oakey) Haney of Longmont, CO; brothers, John Haney and Teri of Morrison, CO; David Haney and Donna of Platteville, CO; James Haney and Janet of Buckeye, AZ; sisters, Debbie Whiddon and Bob of Edmond; OK, Cheryl Thiery and Steve of Platteville, CO; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends and family will miss playing Bridge and the games Jeff loved to invent. He will be remembered as a gentle, intelligent and loving man.
