Michael Allen Hickman, age 71, of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away March 6, 2015. He was born June 8, 1943, in Ashland, Kentucky.

Michael proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was an amazing person who loved his wife, family and friends and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He loved his dogs and he had a passion for racing horses. Michael was the founder and CEO of H & H Industries. He was an extremely hard worker and was an entrepreneur. He had true American spirit and came from nothing, but his ambition and hard work paid off and with the fruits of his labor, he was able to give back and pay it forward. Michael was known for his kindness and generosity.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ellen Hickman, of the home; his two sons, Russell and Noah; 3 grandsons; and a host of family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Michael’s honor to OQHRA Scholarship Fund, PO Box 2907, Edmond, OK 73083 or Future Fortune Foundation, PO Box 610, Norman, OK 73070. A Private Memorial Service for Michael will be held at his Ranch.
