John, of Allentown, passed away at the age of 77, St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown Campus.

He was the husband of Kay (Fritchman) Adams, for 51 years.

John was a son of the late William E. and Ann (Sweeney) Adams.

He served as a Cos/Seabees in the Navy during World War II, earning the Pacific Theater Ribbon, American Theater Ribbon and Victory Medal.

He was a production supervisor for Dent MTF, Northampton, for 38 years before retiring in 1994.
