Pinson, TN: Cloyce K. Neal, Sr., age 69 passed away Sunday December 28, 2014 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was born February 8, 1945 in Hayti, MO and raised at Pinson, the son of the late Martin Kelly Neal, Sr. and Eliza Glidwell Neal. He attended schools at Southside and worked in the carpenter business all of his adult life, self-employed most of that time. He enjoyed playing the guitar. He was a member of Pleasant Ridge Full Gospel Church in Henderson.
Mr. Neal is survived by two sons, Sonny Neal, Jr. and wife Tracy of Gautier, MS and Roger Neal and wife Julie of McKenzie, TN; two daughters, Charlotte Hayes and husband Steve of Dyersburg and Shelia Murray of Darden; two step sons, Jerry Dorris of Selmer and David Dorris and wife Kristy of Bemis and two step daughters, Donna Fesmire of Jackson and Selena Thompson and husband Neal of Pinson; eighteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren; one brother, William Doug Neal of Memphis and three sisters, Mattie Harrigan of Kennett, MO, Gracie Smith of Pinson and Emma Jean Hall of Akron, OH.
He was preceded in death by one son, Davey Dewayne Neal; two brothers, Carl Eugene Neal and Martin Kelley ‘Sam’ Neal, Jr. and three sisters, Lois Marie Neal, Barbara King and Ethel Sumler.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Big Springs Methodist Church near Medon, TN with Bobby Roe and James Harrigan officiating with burial in Big Springs Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday and 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Wednesday at the church.
