Cumberland, MD - Charlotte Louise Crowe, 82, of Cumberland, MD, died on Saturday, February 10, 2007, at the WMHS-Memorial Campus.
Born September 29, 1924, in Cumberland, MD, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Franklin Helbert and Helen Marie (Keifer) Helbert.
Mrs. Crowe was also preceded in death by a brother, W. Donald Keifer. A homemaker, Mrs. Crowe was a former member of the Shrine of Saint Jude's Catholic Church in Rockville, MD, and Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Cumberland, MD.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Lloyd C. Crowe; her son, James G. Crowe, Alexandria, VA; her daughters, Mary F. Crotts and her husband, Dennis, Silver Spring, MD; and Lloydann Kauffman and her husband, Steven, Thurmont, MD; her brother, Francis "Frank" Keifer and his wife, Christina, Edgewater, FL; as well as nine grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
Friends were received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, on Thursday, February 15, 2007, from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M., and from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Mass of the Christian Burial was celebrated at the Shrine of Saint Jude, 12701 Veirs Mill Road, Rockville, MD, on Friday, February 16, 2007, at 11:30 A.M., with Father Robert Walsh as celebrant.
Interment was in Parklawn Cemetery, Rockville, MD.
