DAVID TUCKER DIES AT HOME

David H. Tucker, age 76, died at his home in Sugar Creek township at 8:30 p.m. Monday of a heart ailment following three weeks' illness.

He was born in Moral township on February 15, 1867, and died on his birthday. He was the son of John and Mary Dake Tucker.

He married Minnie C. Ensminger, of Moral township, on February 3, 1889, and to this union three children were born. She died on April 24, 1928. On December 22, 1938, he was married to Mrs. Mae Gundrum, who survives.

Other survivors are the children, Roy and Fred Tucker, of Fairland, and Mrs. Ralph [Bertha] House, of Moral township; two step-children, Mrs. John F. Mohr, of Waldron, and Dale Gundrum, of Shelbyville; one brother, Benjamin Tucker, of London; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Weaver, of London, and Mrs. John [Nellie] Robinson, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; five grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Tucker had been a resident of Shelby county all his life and was a farmer except for 15 years when he had a general store in London. He was a charter member of the Red Men's lodge at Shelbyville.

Funeral services will be held at the London Methodist church at 10: 30 a.m. Thursday with Rev. William H. Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill cemetery in charge of Charles M. Ewing, funeral director. Friends may call at the late home at any time.
