Clyde Richard Beam , of Lufkin,Texas succumbed of a massive heart attack at his home surrounded by his family on March 4, 2000.
Richard was processed in death by his father Clyde Edward Beam , his wife June of 49 years, his daughter Debbie 17, granddaugther Kathy and great granddaugther Amberly. Richard is survived by his mother Mahala , 6 sons Dan , Steve , Tony , Bruce , Jim and Terry, 3 daughters Pat , Hope , and Marsha , 3 sisters , Shirley , Carol and Jo Ann, 5 brothers Bobby , Gary, Jimmy , Roy and David, and many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. Richard was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to all.
Richard loved traveling and worked as an Upholster for 57 years and a D.J. for over 20 years.He worked at KRBA radio station in Lufkin , Texas for over 15 years. Under his radio name Jim Beam. He enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren playing sports and loved playing baseball, basketball and horseshoes on the weekends. He also enjoyed movies and reading. A special thank you to the helping hands of the EMT's in Lufkin for their services , care and support. Also thank you to Carrroway Funeral Home for all of the arrangements.
Visitation will be from 5:00 a.m. until 8:00 PM at Carroway Funeral Home on Monday, March 6. Richard will he cremated and ashes returned to a family member.
