Teddy "Ted" C. Richardson, 77, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2015. Born in Bluffton, IN, Ted was a truck driver with USF Holland for 35 years, retiring in 2000. He was a member of Pentecostal Holiness Church and a US Air Force Veteran. Ted was a humble and unselfish man who enjoyed fishing and making people laugh. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Mildred Richardson of Fort Wayne, son, Michael (Terry) Richardson of Waterloo, IN; daughter, Becky (Chuck) Fitch of Fort Wayne; sisters, Romayne St. John of TN, and Marilyn Melching of FL; grandchildren, Holly, Shaun, Dawn, Eric, and Daniel; and 9 great-grandchildren. Ted was preceded in death by his brother, Don Richardson. Service is 1 p.m. Sunday, March 8, 2015 at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Rd. with calling 2 hours prior to the service. Military honors by American Legion Post 241 at Lindenwood Cemetery.
