ack M. McNeal, 91, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2015 in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Jack worked as an iron worker with Local Union 147 for 36 years, retiring in 1982. Jack served his country as a member of the US Army during WWII. He was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church, American Legion Post 82, and a past member of the Fort Wayne figure skating club. Surviving are his sons, Michael (Linda) McNeal; and Mark (Alta) McNeal both of Fort Wayne; 4 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Pat McNeal; parents, Guy and Pearl McNeal; brothers, Dale, Glen, and Paul McNeal; and his sister, Violet Adam. Service is 10:30 am Saturday, March 7, 2015 at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Rd with calling 1hr prior. Calling also Friday, March 6, 2015 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
